Sometimes life can catch you off guard


you never can prepare for the worst

No one knows the pain I felt. I lost a life that day

So young and naive I was I admit troubled confused and a bit of a nit wit

But happy in my nativity it might sound strange to you and I agree

To look back on that life I once had to think I was happy seems a bit sad.

No way would I EVER return to that life

But still I paid a heavy price

Life is full of twist and turns

You really never know when life’s storms may churn

And then it hits you suddenly

And it may hurt really bad for while

But life goes on and year goes by

and even the worst pain will subside

The sun will come up a new day will dawn

and most of the sad will be gone
