A city girl north Dallas that’s right
Born and raised on fine foods and night life
We have a reputation and most of its true
Spoiled and prissy
Hi my name is Chrissy
Two years ago I packed my Gucci bags
headed for the country with all that I had
It was a culture shock to say the least
But this small town has gotten into me
It became my home my comfort zone
The place where I lay my head
I traded my [ Prada and Jimmy Choo]
For [Wrangler jeans and cowboy boots]
There’s not a lot of margarita balls I now spend my time at rodeos and in stalls
But for whatever reason I’m happier now
This simple life is what I’m about.
Some might think this couldn't’t be true
That this city girl could turn country blue
But here I am and I intend to stay
With my cowboy beside me all of my days
